Statement of Faith

Bible

The 66 books of Scripture are the inspired, inerrant, infallible, and final authority for faith and life. We interpret the Bible with a literal, grammatical-historical method under the Spirit’s illumination.

God

There is one God, eternally existing in three Persons Father, Son, and Holy Spirit coequal in deity, worthy of worship, sovereign in creation, providence, and redemption.

Jesus Christ

Fully God and fully man; born of a virgin; lived sinlessly; died a substitutionary, atoning death; rose bodily; ascended; intercedes for us; and will return in glory to judge and to reign.

Holy Spirit

The divine Person who convicts of sin, regenerates, indwells, sanctifies, empowers, gifts, and seals believers; glorifies Christ; and forms the church as His Body.

Humanity & Sin

Created in God’s image as male and female; made to glorify God. In Adam, all fell into sin, becoming guilty and unable to save themselves.

Salvation

By grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Regeneration, justification, sanctification, and future glorification are God’s work. Believers are eternally secure and called to holiness.

The Church

The Body and Bride of Christ, formed since Pentecost, distinct from Israel, expressed in local, elder-led congregations devoted to worship, the Word, fellowship, ordinances (baptism & Lord’s Supper), discipline, discipleship, service, and global mission.

Spiritual Gifts

Today, God equips the church with non-revelatory gifts for edification and service; He answers prayer according to His will.

Christian Life

We pursue holiness, love, truth, unity, and mission, separated from sin and devoted to Christ in grateful obedience.

Last Things

Christ will return personally and gloriously; He will judge the living and the dead. Believers will dwell with Him forever.
