These gatherings—whether in homes, cafés, or online—are where you can share your journey, grow spiritually, and walk with others who are pursuing Jesus. From in-depth Bible studies to prayer gatherings and life-stage-based fellowship, there’s a group waiting to welcome you. What is a Small Group at Cornerstone?
Small Groups are intentional gatherings of people who meet regularly to grow in faith, build relationships, and support one another. They reflect the early church model in Acts 2:42–47, fostering prayer, teaching, fellowship, and community.
How do I know which group is right for me?
Our groups vary by life stage, interests, and schedule. Whether you’re single, married, new to faith, or a longtime believer, we’ll help match you to a group where you’ll feel seen and supported.
Do I have to be a church member to join a group?
Not at all. Small Groups are open to anyone who’s interested in exploring community and growing spiritually, even if you’re just checking out Cornerstone or faith in general.
What do groups usually do when they meet?
Each group is unique, but most include time for connection, prayer, studying Scripture or a topic, and sharing life together. Some groups include meals, serve together, or plan social outings.
Is childcare provided?
Some groups, like our Family Group, are family-friendly and may include space for children. If you need help finding a group that accommodates your family, we’re happy to guide you.
Can I try a group before committing?
Absolutely! We encourage you to visit a group and see if it’s the right fit. You’re welcome to explore before settling in, and we’ll help you find where you feel most at home.
Are groups only in person or also online?
While most of our groups meet in person, we are developing options for virtual and hybrid formats to help those with different schedules or locations stay connected.
What if I want to start or lead a group?
We’re always excited to launch new groups! If you feel called to lead, we offer training and support to help you start strong. Let us know your vision, and we’ll walk with you.
Do I need to have Bible knowledge to join?
No prior knowledge needed—just a willing heart. Small Groups are safe spaces to ask questions, grow at your own pace, and learn in community with others.
