Volunteer & Serve
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others…” (1 Peter 4:10)
Volunteering at Cornerstone Community Church is more than a duty—it’s an act of worship. As a young and growing church, every person makes a difference. We believe God has uniquely gifted each of us with talents and time to build His Kingdom. Whether you’re just beginning your faith journey or you’ve walked with Jesus for years, there’s a place for you to serve, grow, and be part of something eternal. From the moment people arrive to the last prayer, volunteers shape every step of the experience. If you’re ready to make Cornerstone your home, this is where you start living out your faith in practical, powerful ways.

Frequently asked questions
Why should I volunteer at Cornerstone?
Volunteering isn’t just about helping—it’s about becoming part of the family and putting faith into action (James 2:17). You’ll grow spiritually, build meaningful relationships, and help others encounter Jesus.
I’m new—can I still volunteer?
Absolutely! There’s no requirement to be a long-time member. If you love Jesus and are ready to serve, we’ll help you find a role that suits you and train you along the way.
What if I don’t know where I fit?
We’d love to help you discover your gifts. Start by joining our team for a conversation, and we’ll guide you to an area that matches your strengths, availability, and passion.
How much time do I need to commit?
We’re flexible. Some roles require weekly involvement, others just once or twice a month. Whether you have one hour or ten, there’s a place for you to serve meaningfully.
Is there training or orientation?
Yes, each ministry area offers a simple onboarding process and training so you’ll feel prepared and confident. You won’t be thrown in alone—we serve as a team
Can I volunteer with my spouse or family?
Yes! Many families serve together. From hospitality to setup to kids ministry, there are several areas where couples and families can serve side-by-side.
Can youth or students volunteer?
Definitely. We welcome students and teens to serve—especially in areas like setup, media, or outreach. Serving builds responsibility, character, and ownership in the church.
I have a specific skill (e.g. tech, cooking, design). Can I use it?
We’d love for you to! Whether it’s video editing, graphic design, event planning, or food prep—we believe every skill is God-given and valuable in His house.
What support do volunteers get?
We believe in caring for our teams. Volunteers receive regular encouragement, prayer, and occasional gatherings for rest and renewal. You serve—but you’re not serving alone.
